In case you only have a domain name with us, but you also want to migrate your website(s) to our web hosting platform, you can merely switch to one of our cloud hosting packages. Just visit the Upgrade Plan section of your Domain Control Panel and specify the package that you desire to move to. We’ll then enable all the available hosting features for you and you’ll be able to take full advantage of all the site creation and management tools that are integrated into the Control Panel.

All our hosting plans offer a drag & drop File Manager, webmail access, the possibility to set up multiple MySQL databases and to view in–depth site traffic stats, and even more, so all you have to take into account is the amount of resources that you require for your sites.

With the help of the Wildcard DNS functionality, you’ll be able to make all your sub–domains load the index page of your web site. For example, when somebody types in smth.domain.com or any.domain.com, they’ll be redirected to http://domain.com/.

You might need the Wildcard DNS functionality for a multi–site application such as WordPress or Joomla^™ Multi–Site.

To activate a wildcard domain, visit the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel and then click on the Add Host button located on the right. At the bottom of the list of options, you’ll notice the Wildcard Domain tick box.

In our Domain Manager you can find an intuitive tool, which will permit you to filter your traffic according to the visitors’ country of origin. With our GeoIP redirection tool, you’ll be able to easily set up location–based redirects and forward people to various parts of your web site. For instance, you’ll be able to redirect the US traffic to your index page, and the traffic from Spain to a sub–domain – es.your–website.com, for instance.

With this intuitive tool, you no longer need to enter dozens of lines of code in the .htaccess file. Everything is carried out by the tool itself.

The domain redirection tool that is integrated into REN Hosting’s web hosting Control Panel allows you to forward a domain or a subdomain in your account to another site of your choosing. Simply specify the host you want to redirect as well as the destination path. Our system will handle the redirection procedure and your domain will start to point to the desired location straight away.

The tool offers an easy–to–use interface, so you’ll be able to redirect a given domain or subdomain with a few mouse clicks instead of making sophisticated modifications to the .htaccess file.

With REN Hosting, you’ll be able to easily prevent your domain name from being taken away without your authorization by "locking" it at your current domain name registrar. This won’t influence the way the domain name behaves in any way, but will momentarily block all domain transfer requests.
